Explaining Heaven

Well, last weekend I talked with my relatives about how we have been missing and thinking about my grandpa. He pasted away 5 years ago, but my little brother ended up hearing about how he is not around anymore. My little brother then asked,"Where is Tall Paul?" We used to call my grandpa "Tall Paul" because he did not like all his kids calling him grandpa. We started explaining to my little brother how he is in heaven, but as you probably know 2 year olds don't know the difference between heaven and down to earth. My brother is pretty intelligent so he kind of understood. I had to make him get a mental picture so I compared our grandpa to Casper the friendly ghost. He now understands it: and now when we come home, we go by my grandma and grandpa's house he says, "That's where Tall Paul Casper lives!"

This is the URL to one of my new favorite songs.

I like love this song! I think it has a really good meaning and understanding. The song is called Firework by Katy Perry, and I love how she did all the graphics in it. They are really easy to understand like the lyrics you can picture what she is trying to say. <3

Losing some one you love! :'(

The past month I have been going back and forth from school to the hospital to see my grandma. She was having blood and all kinds of other test done on her, but the doctors don't know what's wrong. Until they noticed that her apendix was ruptured and they believe it had been ruptured for over a week. So she had the surgery and was doing good, but then all of the sudden she was complaining about chest pain and how it was hard to breathe. So the doctors took another test and found that she had fluid around her lungs. She was put on more medication to get rid of it, but the medication wasn't working so they gave her an IV that kept her asleep and motionless. It's basically a medicational coma. She now got put on a ventilator. Three days later she got taken off the ventilator and actually got her wake up. So she had no fluid on or around her lungs at that point. She now is at home and in good care of my mother and my aunt, but after all this stuff happens my uncle gets put in the hospital and got tests run on his chest because he has had really bad chest pain and the day before my grandma got out of the hospital he got 10 pounds of fluid removed from his lungs.
He got home the next day and fell asleep and when my little cousin went to get up and wake my uncle up he wouldn't wake up. So my great aunt and great uncle rushed him out to the emergency room where they found out he had a lump on his chest. They figured he was having mini strokes and they decided to take him to Rodchester. Where he still is now. When my dad went to see him he told me that my uncle looked like crap and he also said that my uncle told him to talk to his doctor and tell him that if he dies laying there in the Rodchester hospital bed that he didn't want them to revive him. He basically told my dad that if he died he just wanted to stay dead and not be brought back to life.

Team Work! :D

As you may know our basketball season is about to kick off. This year we just so happen to be losing some of the "Best" people, and I really hope to bring this season the best team work. In order to do that we need to work together and get the jobs done. My coaches have been saying something to me about making a drill or play. That will allow the shooters to get open. Which is what we need, and I would like it if I could have some credit for helping and allowing the girls to get a good season set and ready for the championships.

Killer Spiking

Hello, This is a blog about my freshman year in volleyball. We have been practicing in the gym since August, and we are now almost half way through the season. I am unable to play due to an injury in my hand, but before that happened I was going good and working hard. In practice we work on setting up a thing called bump, set, spike. Our team does very well with setting it up. We love to have a challenge at our games by hitting our target. On our team we have some tall girls so we are able to jump high enough to get on top of the ball, and Drill it into the ground!
